Katrina Air Transport - October 10, 2005

On October 10, Pia Salk accompanied 100 pets on a chartered flight from New Orleans to Los Angeles. 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com's David Meyer made arrangements for the flight in a single day, after learning that the shelter where the pets were housed would be closing down. All pets have been distributed to no-kill rescue groups and will be fostered while we all attempt to locate the pets' owners! Here are some photos from the day of the transport.
